An unbeaten run is the most quoted streak in football and the most misread. It blends wins and draws into one number, so a side grinding out six 1-1s carries the same headline as a side winning six straight. The first is a draw machine the market misprices in a different way than the second. Before betting on a run continuing, split it: how many of the games were wins, and who were they against?
