The US hosts 78 of the 104 matches. The 11 cities are spread across the country:

East Rutherford, New Jersey (8 matches including the final): Across the river from Manhattan. MetLife Stadium hosts the FIFA World Cup Final on 19 July. The largest single concentration of supporters during the tournament will be in the New York metro area.

Arlington, Texas (9 matches including a semi-final): Part of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. AT&T Stadium is the largest 2026 venue. Strong Latin American supporter culture in north Texas.

Distance between venues: The 16 venues span 4 time zones. A US Coast-to-Coast trip (East Rutherford to Inglewood) is ~2,800 miles and a 6-hour flight. Most teams base themselves in one or two metro areas to minimise travel.

Border crossings: Visiting supporters traveling between Canada and US matches need standard ESTA/Visa documentation. Mexico-US crossings require valid passports. FIFA's "Hayya" card (introduced at Qatar 2022) is used as a fan ID for the 2026 tournament and may simplify some border procedures.
